ROAR meets CHRIS PAUL, leading ‘90s musician, DJ, producer and Top of the Pops Star with ISOTONIK, who started his career as a cop before becoming the UK’s most prolific promoter, sometimes putting on up to five raves a weekend, including most famously his successful ORANGE event – and even spun rave tunes for the QUEEN MUM and PRINCESS DI!

In this in-depth one-part interview, Chris talks about how, as a DJ at CAMDEN PALACE and THE HIPPODROME, he bought acid house to the masses and created a generation of ravers, created buzzy rave brand Orange with a little help from the well-known mobile phone network of the same name – and why he’s decided to bring it back for a reunion this summer despite living on another continent!

Plus he discusses the ups and (expensive) downs of being a promoter, why he decided to pack it all in during the mid-90s and move to the States where he worked with Hollywood star Jeff Goldblum, among other famous faces, and has gone back to being a cop…an award-winning one at that!
