One of the original junglist originators KENNY KEN is welcomed onto ROAR for a fascinating and unashamedly outspoken two-part romp through his incredible life and career. Having spent much of his younger years in and out of Her Majesty’s Pleasure for low-level criminality, Kenny – AKA KEN DELSOL – tells The ‘90s Rave Podcast how accidentally finding the early rave scene helped him turn his life around, admitting: “Without it I’d either be in prison…or dead.”

Telling the story of how he went from how he went from a sweaty raver who manned London’s tube stations in the week and idolised the mixing style of Grooverider and Carl Cox at weekends, to joining them as a main stage headline act and resident at some of the defining nights of the ‘90s such as Labrynth and AWOL, Ken doesn’t hold back as he talks the highs and lows of being at the forefront of the ‘90s rave scene…and for the 20 years since!

It’s a belting episode, with an equally good second part following next week, before we touch down in a fortnight with another enthralling interview with the don of happy hardcore and Bonkers founder, DJ Hixxy!
